Pilgrim’s Sanctum Puzzle Guide: Block, Statue and Fire Arrow

Solve the fairy-room block, missing blue statue and pit brazier in Pilgrim’s Sanctum, with video checkpoints.

Three concrete puzzle solutions; boss details moved to Fermata page

Match your room to the landmarks below. These solutions cover three verified obstacles in the first dungeon. They are not a complete route through every locked door or chest.

The door after the fairy tutorial

The block is on the right; the empty pressure plate is on the left.

  1. Copy the right-hand block.
  2. Create it on the left pressure plate.
  3. Leave through the south doorway after it opens.

The official recording shows placement at 6:26; the independent PC recording shows the same completed arrangement at 28:00 and departure by 28:05. Official solution · PC comparison

The missing blue owl statue

After obtaining the fairy, find the pair of blue owl statues on an upper walkway beside a dark opening. Copy one. Return to the room with red, purple, green and blue floor markings, and create the statue on the empty blue position at the lower right.

The red spikes across the north end retract once the blue statue is placed. In the independent video, placement occurs at 29:41 and the change is visible at 29:42. Copy source · Placement

The brazier across the dark pit

Look for two horizontally aligned braziers, with the right-hand one beyond the pit.

  1. Bring a copied arrow-shooting device.
  2. Light the left brazier with the lantern.
  3. Create the shooter immediately left of that flame, aimed right.
  4. Keep all three objects on the same horizontal line. The arrow crosses the flame and lights the far brazier.

The successful arrangement is shooter → lit brazier → unlit brazier. The developer shows the far flame igniting at 10:14–10:15. This exact room solution retains a single-official-source label. Watch the arrangement

Still blocked somewhere else?

If you are already at the boss, continue to Fermata’s fight. If your issue is the rat, the developer says the rat in this dungeon cannot be spoken to, even in the reported situation with Cheese equipped. Rat answer

Scope: three room solutions, not a complete dungeon route. The pit-brazier solution is from developer footage and has not been independently reproduced.
