Claw’ncher: Pickup Room and Pulling Uses

Identify the Claw’ncher chest room, equip the tool and use its pulling action on the nearby bridge and documented boss openings.

Guide scope

Final chest-room landmarks, pull instruction, nearby bridge result and boss uses; no full route

The Claw’ncher is the grey claw tool found in Overgrown Shrine. Its pickup explanation describes pulling objects and weak enemies. It also has specific combat uses, including exposing Strix after the knight lands.

Find the chest in Overgrown Shrine

The developer walkthrough reaches the pickup at 3:38–3:42. The chest stands on a small raised square near the centre of a tan-floored room. A dark gap runs along the upper-right edge, and two pots sit on the upper ledge. These landmarks identify the final room rather than a complete route from the shrine entrance. Chest and pickup

Open the chest and finish the item message. At 3:42, the text explains the pulling function. The inventory opens immediately afterward, and the grey claw appears in an equipped slot by 3:45. The name is also legible in the later developer inventory. Function and equipment · Item-name confirmation

Try the nearby pull target

After equipping the claw, the developer moves to the right side of the chest room and aims north. At 3:46 the claw extends toward the upper ledge; the following frames show a green strip across the gap and Lief reaching the upper side by 3:48. Use this nearby interaction to recognize the extension and pulling animation before moving on. First nearby use

Face the intended target and use the slot to which you assigned the claw. Check the visible result before assuming that every piece of scenery can be pulled. The pickup wording limits enemy pulling to weak enemies; it does not promise a universal grab.

Use it when an enemy exposes a pull opportunity

Strix provides a clear example: after the armour lands on Lief’s side, the claw pulls out the small green figure, creating the sword opening. The independent recording shows the extension and extraction around 2:54. See the Strix fight guide for the full observed loop instead of attacking the distant armour continuously.

The final boss has a different target: its tongue. Follow the Arbiter guide for the preceding eye phase and the correct opening.

The pickup and nearby bridge interaction come from developer footage. Community footage also shows the Strix pull; this is not a complete route to the chest.
